New home
I have officially created a new blog for Aiden. The new address is www.aidenpeach.blogspot.com. I do have security set on the site, though, and if you wish to view it, I will have to add you as a reader. Since I'm not sure how much longer this site will be up before it expires, instead of leaving comments here, your best bet would be to email me (deven@allianceproductions.com or contact me via my facebook page) to let me know you wish to be added as a reader.
Come visit us at the new blog!!!
Possible New Blog Address
This blog site is up for renewal and I'm debating on whether I want to renew it or go to something else...something that will give me more versatility in the blog design/layout, etc. I have difficulty accessing this sometimes so moving to another option that can accommodate this desire would be an upside.
If you are a "regular" to Aiden's blog and would like to continue keeping up with his blog posts, please e-mail me at deven@allianceproductions.com. I'll be sure to let you know what the new address is once I decide what direction I want to go.
Becoming a Big Boy
As much as I want to keep you a baby forever, you are growing up so fast! Last night for dinner you did not have any baby food whatsoever--you had some cheese quesadilla, carrots, pineapple & mango, cheerios, and meat sticks. For a little guy with absolutely no teeth, you chowed down like you had a mouth full of them.
Then this morning as I was walking out of the living room, you decided to take two steps from the couch to the chair...I just happened to look back at you and caught you doing it.
I am having a very difficult time accepting that you're going to be a year old in 2 weeks! This last year has really passed by right before my eyes and it just seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital!
Help!!
You discovered that you could crawl under your exersaucer. What you didn't know was how to get out. You sat under it and threw a little fit for a few minutes--instead of helping you out I sat back and let you figure it out for yourself. Once you got out you started smiling--as if to say "I DID IT!!".
Chick Magnet
All of your teachers at school LOVE your hair--it's getting so long and you REALLY need a haircut but I REFUSE to get one before your first birthday so I usually style it in a mohawk. I must say, it does look pretty cute on you. I was told one day a couple of weeks ago that one of your "girlfriends" was playing with your hair after snack time. What can I say, you're already a chick magnet...with those big blue eyes, who could resist you? :-)
Memorial Day 2009
In celebration of this year's Memorial Day we invited the McCools over to our house to grill out. You really enjoyed playing with Callie & Harlee and it didn't matter to you that you were the youngest--you were smack dab in the middle of all the fun! Here are some pictures I was able to snap during the festivities. I especially love the ones of you and Aunt B--she has now deemed you her little "slobbermonkey"...and yes, that is your tongue on her cheek. I will say your slippery wet kisses are the best!!!!
Happypants
You are one of the happiest babies I know when you wake up (for the most part). What makes you even happier is when Harlee comes in your room first thing in the morning. These are pics I snapped over the Memorial Day weekend--I should get some video of your dialogue. She always says "Hey, buddy. Did you have a good nite-nite?" And you smile in response. Very cute!!
Mr. Mobility
Over the past couple of weeks you have really begun to get around extremely well. You're pulling up on everything in sight, cruising around the furniture, holding on to things with one hand (and even a couple of times you've stood completely unassisted all by yourself). You can go from standing to sitting in a split second and you've even started sitting on your knees (which really makes you look like such a big boy). I keep saying this but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if you start walking before your first birthday. Here are a few pics I was able to snap in the last two weeks of your new skills. Photo ops are becoming increasingly more difficult with two very active kiddos.....
