8 month update
At 8 months here is some info about you:
**At your last dr. appt. you weight 18 lbs. 11 oz.
**You wear primarily 12 month clothes; size 3 diaper
**You've been solely on formula for the last month and we started supplementing some formula in with your breast milk bottles each day about a month prior to that. I just wasn't able to pump enough each day to even make one of your bottles so I decided to go ahead and make the switch to formula. You usually eat 4 six oz. bottles each day.
**You eat cereal in the mornings and usually one veggie and one fruit in the evenings although we've been trying about 1/2 container of meat with dinner but so far you're not too crazy about the taste. You're eating 2nd foods.
**Fruit is definitely your favorite to eat. You've started gagging and spitting out green beans and peas and meats. Definitely not used to having a picky eater with baby food--Harlee loved it all; seems like you're going to be a little different in that department. We use a sippy cup, either with water or water with a little bit of apple/pear juice, but you're usually more interested in just chewing on the soft spout. You do manage to get a couple of drinks in but for the most part you're not that worried about it.
**You usually take 3-4 30-45 minute naps each day. Bed time is usually around 7-7:30 and you wake up around 6 a.m. You wake a couple times during the night but once you are given your paci you go right back to sleep. You start out sleeping on your right side but end up on your tummy--that still scares me so any time I check on you and you're on your tummy I turn you back over.
**You can sit up unassisted, you can rock back and forth on all fours, you can scoot backwards, you roll anywhere and everywhere you want to go.
**You're very vocal and love to shriek and scream to get attention and once you get the attention you start smiling from ear to ear. You love for Harlee to talk to you and she can get you to laugh pretty easily. Not really saying any words yet but you babble a lot.
**You and Daddy have this "tongue" thing going on and any time he sticks his tongue out, you try to stick yours out further.
**You love to give kisses and will grab the back of my hair and pull my head to yours and give me the biggest open mouth kiss ever. I love it!
**Socks are still your favorite "toys" and you love to take them off your feet and chew on them like a little puppy dog.
We go for your 9 month check up at the beginning of April and I'm anxious to see how much you've grown. Every time I pick you up you get heavier and heavier. I swear some days it's hard to tell a difference between carrying you and carrying Harlee.

You are growing way too fast! I love all the seet pics that your mommy takes of you! I have to admit it...the sweet cheeks and your cute little eyes take the cake! Love you Aiden!!
